One thing I do not like: the mirror world is too damn dark. It would be a shame to base my opinion on my lack of familiarity. Right now it's harder to play because I don't know it well enough.
I will have to spend some time with it and get familiar before I decide if I like it or not. Not sure if this is just gone or I can't find it yet. Same with cash production and mana production. You used to be able to pull up the list of production to get a view of how much benefit you were getting from what improvement. My advice would be: If you are a fan or want to support the remake, you can buy it for the full price. Which is probably worse than just having a difficult to manage interface. It seems to nowhere explain were I can built cities and what are good places or not. the interface looks worse, inconsistent, even ugly (buttons on scrolls? many icons in different styles, cool unit drawings in really small places next to simplified drawings of some symbols, bookshelf on the scroll?), the overall and battle map looks poor and plastic too. this doesn't really look like improvement from original. Rower.san: i'm a big fan of the original game and was really interested in reboot, but when i saw the screenshots, i was concerned.
